Vocabulary Log #2

SUNDAY

You need to distribute those sacks according to their respective destinations

The multiplex was showing a comedy and a horror film, and we decided that the latter would be much fun to watch

-Morally a good behaviour or character/ the good result that comes from something
The virtue of wool as a clothing material is that it can provide insulation from the cold even when wet

I could sense her being peculiarly strange within this week and it gives me the creeps

MONDAY

I have nothing but scorn for people who are cruel to animals

TUESDAY

The article as written requires only one factual amendment

-Existing/ happening or coming before
Had not eaten since the preceding day

-A belief that something is true eventhough it has not been proved/ willingness to do stg without the permission to do so
I was shocked by his presumption in insisting that we buy his ruffle

WEDNESDAY

-To remove the unwanted substances/ To improve stg by making small changes
He worked on refining her backhand before the big tennis match

-Having limits
Our nation's natural resources are abundant, but they are also finite

-Able to be understood in more than one way/ have more than one meaning/ not understood clearly
The exact reason for the change in plans is ambiguous, but I suspect it has something to do with money

THURSDAY

If you keep distorting your face like that, someday it's going to freeze in that position
